We are looking for a Cake Decorator who will be responsible for designing and decorating cakes according to specifications and preferences, providing suitable recommendations on cake decorations and designs, packaging bakery items, managing inventory, ensuring cleanliness and proper sanitation while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Main Responsibilities Creating and testing new cake recipes to meet customer demands. Designing and decorating cakes according to customer specifications. Managing inventory of ingredients and supplies. Ensuring cleanliness and proper sanitation of the baking area. Maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Creative ability with artistic skill in decorating cakes and other desserts. Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately. Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards. Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers. Check the quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking. Create new dessert recipes and test new flavors. Ideal Candidate Qualifications: Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a bakery chef within the hospitality industry. Experience creating customized cakes for customers. Proven experience as a pastry chef or baker. Creativity and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge & Competency Solid understanding of pastry and baking tools and equipment. Knowledge of ingredients and their properties. Exceptional proven ability in kitchen management. Ability to divide responsibilities and monitor progress. Outstanding communication and leadership skills. Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes.
